What are nails?
You have nails on your fingers and toes. They protect your fingers and toes tips. Nails are made of Keratin. This is the same substance your body uses to create hair. Guys look at your nails! Look at the bottom of your nails there will you see a white arch. You see that? There starts your nail.
Where are nails used for?
Nails are used for scratching. They are also there to paint them. That is graceful. Little is know about toenails.
Nail problems
Ingrown nail- when the nails curves down into the skin, very painful.
Nail injury- when you drop something on your big toe or catch your finger in a drawer. A bruise may appear under the nail and sometimes the nail falls off. A new one grows in its place.
Nail deformity- when the nail isn’t smooth like a healthy nail. People who bite or pick a lot at their nails they can have this problem
Hangnail- when a loose strip of dead skin hangs from the edge of a fingernail. Hangnails hurt if you pull them off.
